Transparency & Governance
We believe that open financial practices and strict accountability are the foundations of lasting community trust.
How Your Contributions Work
Our goal is to ensure the maximum possible portion of every donation goes directly to our core initiatives serving Assam. We rigorously manage our resources across three primary areas:
Program Services
Direct funding for survival stipends, disaster relief, education, and elderly care.
Administration
Essential operational costs, ethical compliance, and organizational governance.
Fundraising
Community outreach and campaign management to sustain and grow our impact.
Document Repository
As a newly established foundation, our first official financial audits and annual reports will be published at the close of our first fiscal year. This repository holds all official public documents.
Governance Structure
The Shymal Seal Foundation is guided by a dedicated Board of Trustees who oversee the strategic direction and financial health of the organization. Key decisions are made through a democratic voting process during quarterly board meetings, ensuring diverse perspectives and ethical oversight.
Core Policies
- Conflict of Interest Policy: All board members and key executives are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest to ensure impartial decision-making.
- Anti-Fraud & Accountability: Strict internal controls, including dual-signature mandates for large disbursements, are in place to safeguard funds.
- Beneficiary Privacy: We strictly protect the identities and personal data of the vulnerable individuals we serve.
